I know, I’m late to this one too. And I understand why. Every character was awful in the first few episodes. That’s why I’ve given up before.
Somewhere around episode five, though, people begin being minimally nice to each other. The characters redeemed themselves enough by the very end of Season One that Gary will even watch it.
I wish people had explained that to me, instead of saying, “You have to wait for Season Four, that’s when it gets really good.”
Additionally, I was promised wigs, and there are very few wigs in Season One. There’s a funny nod to the wigs in the first episode.
But after that, not anywhere near enough wigs. I have more wigs than Moira Rose has on her wig wall in Season One.

I love Schitt’s Creek! But I am also a Canadian and the Levys are national treasures.
Speaking of a show that is fantastic although the people are awful (and many remain awful) have you watched Fleabag?
AH – LOVED Fleabag. It was the best!
