Disappointing

Actually this is the only disappointing thing about the hotel. I was mobbed by robots by the elevator. That was fun. Story to come later.

  1. “Breaking with the rigid formality and prescriptivism within his chosen field of hotel toilet paper folding, the intrepid artist boldly discovers new visual framing and, in doing so, calls attention to the unified practice of his contemporaries and predecessors, problematizing the history of identicality in toilet paper folding…”

    But sigh.

BUT I’m glad that was the only disappointing thing about the hotel! Hooray!

  2. KC’s interpretation of the toilet paper artistic endeavor is brilliant.

I guess the point of making the point with the tp is so you know the staff has been in there? It never really made sense to me.

    • I think there are a select group of people who get very very upset if toilet paper doesn’t tear nicely at the perforation. That is why Charmin has their fancy scalloped edge paper now, because there’s less chance of a ragged edge.

I’m not one of those people, but I see why a hotel acknowledges people who need perfection. It’s an easy way to say they have standards.
