I recently heard Gary bustling about in his closet.
I came in to find this astonishing reorganization.
Ninety percent black t-shirts. The man is retired.
The two non-black shirts were just recently added back to the rotation because the others were deemed contaminated with construction particulate matter.

Do the black t-shirts have different things on them, or are they just plain black t-shirts? (but also, yes, that is a hilarious photo even if all the shirts are different!)
KC – they have things, but only three things: political statements, science jokes, or superheroes.

There *is* a fair bit of diversity available within those three categories, but yes. Themes. There are definite themes…
KC – And he won’t let you just buy him a random black T-shirt. He has to approve it.
I mean, if you’re going to be walking around with a Statement on you, you want it to be the right statement.
(that said, it seems like some things would probably be safe choices. But also he might already have them if they *are* really spot-on for what you know of his preferences, so there is that…)
