This Week in Leaving the House

My first visit out of doors took me to a restaurant, where I met up with people from the old old company I worked for when this blog came to be: Elliot. (Not its real name.) I met with the woman who threw the Divorce Soiree, now happily re-married. I also saw The Mason, and the President who was almost in the line of fire from my snot.

It was a lovely opportunity to say lovely things to lovely people. And to revile people we didn’t like who are long gone.

My second visit out of doors was an aborted attempt to see the Barber of Seville. I was all set to look for Salmon Pants, and to watch the Parade of Men, and see if the warmer weather causes a recurrence of last year’s Jumble Summer. But, sadly, we didn’t make it past dinner and some suspect crabcakes and remoulade, and now we’re going later next month.

Two entirely social activities in one week. Creeping out, one toe at a time.
