Eh, you’ll probably make yourself crazy anyway because doing recognizable humans you know really well: very hard.
Also, it will already not be an exact reproduction because the shoulders had to move, so there! 😉

I continue to be impressed that it keeps looking *better* and more like the photo; it is haaaard to get humans right.

I do not think you need to think loose for this particular one. Portraits *can* be loose, but this one doesn’t need to be.
KC – I don’t want to reproduce the photo though, and if I don’t strive for looseness I’ll end up making myself crazy.
