I went forward, and then I took some parts backwards, back down to white, so I can start again.

Fair. Green Pear is overworked, Red pear Is all wrong on the top edge.

I can see the “overworked” more clearly now that I see what you were going for – thank you (at least, I am assuming “less smooth, more jittery/spotty/scratchy” is the thing?).
But still, your final pear painting looks really, really nice!
Ah, sunflower; one part gets sent back to the beginning of the board game… so it goes.
KC – it’s hard not to make it streaky and splotchy “� there a clear goo you have to mix with the paint, and I don’t mix it enough, it would seem.
That makes sense! I was wondering if your paint was too dry or something. I wonder how people normally mix it?
KC – I think after practice you just sense how much glazing medium per parts of paint you need.
