I was going to focus on the red petals but then I got caught up in everything else.

It was originally supposed to look like the image below. My canvas was square and I had to do some adjustments. I think it’s okay. I think the next one will be better, it’s lemons, lemons are easier.

  1. I really am amazed at the transformations of these paintings! I think they’re beautiful and then they change and become even more lovely! I love the water in the vase!

  2. Lisa – I always feel like I’m asking people to play “Spot the differences in these two images.” The next step on the lamp is the fun one, when the details come in.

  3. Watching these change bit by bit is just so fun. I love how the lamp light has grown and seems even warmer. And the water in the vase looks like water! (Which, duh, but like I said, it’s really cool to see it change from one post to the next!) And the color of the tulips is lovely. Very nice.
