I Speak Truth to Power

This is not a handsome man:

It’s a cold thing to say on his wedding day, but it is true. All day the media has been fawning over how the “bride is so lovely, the Prince is so handsome – ” No! No, he isn’t. Big forehead, giant nose, creepy smile.

And Diana had a big nose.

And you could perform surgery with Kate’s nose, it is that pointy. I’m sure they all have excellent characteristics that override these flaws, as we all do, but royalty doesn’t guarantee good looks. It does seem to guarantee flattery, and then you’re in a frumpy tan dress with too much eyeliner and a beribboned toilet seat balanced over your nose.

Oh, and James Hewitt is Harry’s father. Nyah. Honeymoon is over, royals!

  1. You’re either 235 years too late or, guessing, 25 years too early for that to be a treasonous statement, wench.

  2. But he was a very handsome teenager. Yes, his mother did have a large-ish nose. But between his grandfathers, it was a given the hair would go.
I doubt Harry will have that problem. Snerk.

  3. What about Princess Beatrice’s IUD hat?!! And how was Posh’s stuck to her head? Glue? Nails?
No, I’m playing at being an actuary – I’m guessing Charles has only got 25 years left in him. Which will mean a scant 10 as king, probably. Longest apprenticeship in history.

  4. Big Dot – just a comb. And oh, that makes sense. Like King Edward 7, just a few years after a long wait.

  5. Magpie – Gary went through the latest Life and Style / Us to prove to me Kate’s nose isn’t pointy. I kept saying, “get a profile shot” and of course there was none.
