A sudden death is so unexpected one cannot be prepared for the news. Gary and Ellen know how to support and distract grieving people. All that can be done while the numbing reality of the loss is fresh.
robin – sigh. sue – Oh, I’ve been hugged. I’d say there have been about five hugs an hour. But thanks, though. Caroline – I need coffee. I’m not calling you, though. Actually, I’ve been converted to Chai. Angie – You know, everyone is so in shock that there are relatively few tears. *Thanks*Queen Mother – The in-laws have en masse fallen all over themselves trying to fix the issues they can. Gary mowed the lawn (I know!), Karen tried to navigate beaurocracy, and Sandy wallowed in the Islamic traditions she really doesn’t understand. I mean, even I know a dowry isn’t really a payment. I just sat around and looked sad.Autumn – Thank you, Autumn.

Oh no! I hope things are as good as they can be under the circumstances. *hugs*
