I had a lovely Fourth of July weekend, and I think the best part was my closet improvement.
I have a standard slider-panel door closet, and because it isn’t very deep, they didn’t bother to put a light in it.
And that would be fine, but my closet has books and a guitar amp and panties and three wigs and a bag of sex toys and drawing paper and my laptop bag and other things like the Calvin Klein underwear box Gary won’t let me throw away. And clothes for 2/3rds of it.

And before you say I’m a tease for just showing you the clothes, the bag of toys is right there. But you can hardly see it because it’s black and there is no light.
But now there is, because last weekend I bought two of these motion-activated USB rechargeable lights and put one on each side.

Now I just slide open either closet door and that triggers the light. And all I had to do was WAIT 38 YEARS for them to make rechargeable lights that easily dismount from a magnetic strip that is itself mounted to the drywall with adhesive.

It pleases me every time I open the door.

I love Small Changes That Make Life Easier. Fabulous!
(in a similar but not-purchasable vein, I still appreciate your recommendation of just skipping the cover-up when having a mammogram. SO much easier and faster, esp. with shoulder issues that slow down getting arms into and out of robes.)
KC – ah, I am glad. That reminds me I have a mammo in about a month. I might not even bother wearing a bra.
