This is so discouraging. My dadfodils are always up by the end of February.
It’s been a run of 2 days of spring weather.
There is no way I see yellow in three days. No way. Honestly, this has not happened in 36 years.
Putting the TMI in absentminded

I feel like an occasional longer winter is drastically better than perpetually shorter and shorter winters, though, from a climate perspective? A lot of friends have said “this is lovely weather but it is unnerving to be having in it [November, for instance]” and I get it. (that said, we’re also in groundwater drought conditions where we are this year, so that affects some peoples’ secondary perceptions of the relative value of gorgeous sunny days vs. rain/snow please give us more rain/snow, even when they are normally “SUN I WANT ALL THE SUN” people)
But anyway, they’ve still got two days – maybe they’ll have a surprise breakout? 🙂
KC – I suppose they could still do it, since it was in the high 60s today, high 50s tomorrow, and the last day high 60s again. It’s kind of exciting. I feel like doing some wagering.
(did they make it in time? or still in progress?)
KC – still in progress. Stalled, actually. Very disappointing.
Harrumph.
*grizzles mildly*
KC – I am ready to grizzle loudly about the daffodils. There arent even buds!
