Zeno’s Probate

I cannot tell you how infuriating this probate has been, like the arrow in Zeno’s Paradox I just eternally … get almost there … almost.

And yet, earlier this month I did have some tangible proof of progress: a check.

Of course, it was a check that seemed difficult to cash. After I got past the tax issue, then their client software team had to fix a bug that seemed to affect only me.

But then, magically it seemed as if we were at the finish line. But no. When I checked online for my new account … nothing. Instead I have an email with a strange message to sign a document, then when I follow the link it is not there.

Always inching forward then scuttling back.
