  1. She looks good, but not glare-y in the final iteration; perhaps it could be interpreted that the no-nonsense glare captured in the photo was for the *photographer* but since it’s you painting the picture (instead of a random man), she doesn’t need as much glare?

  2. KC – yes, she lost some of her edge. I think i’m giving up, though. This one was too challenging for me.(Left eye still too big! Why!) It’s so amazing that I had to get in there and use just one or two hairs of the paintbrush and it still isn’t right. And you are right, I probably projected some emotions on her..

  3. Totally fine to give up! You can either try again later (either on this photo or another one), or call it a day entirely.
    (I am not sure about emotion projection because the first couple of versions deeefinitely had some glare in them. But it’s hard to repair eyes, and even harder to fix them so they are the right size *AND* have that very particular glare in them!)
