Now Available at Work

I have some rules for work.

One rule, Don’t be Friends Above Your Pay Grade, has recently been amended to Don’t Flirt Above Your Pay Grade, because I can’t go about cutting off any more friends.

Another rule is Don’t Alk-Tay About the Og-Blay at Ork-Way. (Which, translated from the PigLatin Don’t Talk About the Blog at Work.)

When I started at TeddyJ years ago, they were very strict about the internet. Systems were in place to block YouTube, most coding discussion boards (except for StackOverflow), and all the blogs, including this one.

A few years ago YouTube opened up. (I immediately inaugurated my laptop by watching a cat video.) Then the discussion boards.

And most recently, I got to this very blog via my TeddyJ connection.

I don’t know how long it will be out there. It seems very unwise.
