When New Mexico legalized medical marijuana, Dave really leaned in to it. The people at the local Pure Leaf know him well. So then this week he discovered that he might be in pain and not be able to drive to get his pot (or “cannabis,” as everyone corrects me). He could send me to buy recreational pot (cannabis) but that is weak compared to what he is used to buying with his medical marijuana card.
However, the hospice people say that given a few weeks they can transfer his rights to me and I will have a caregiver card. Then I can sashay into the establishment and stockpile reefers and the like. This will be interesting if it comes to pass.

Allison – sadly, it did not come to pass.
“Then I can sashay into the establishment and stockpile reefers and the like” may be one of the perfectest sentences ever blogged.
