Well, the emotional drama is just as telenovela-esque at the midpoint as it was in the resolution. It’s useful for charging ahead, because I am not tempted to revise it, because it makes me cringe to read it.
I have hit the point at which it’s a problem, and what do we do with problems? We throw money at them.
I bought a book on plots, which chided me immediately for not writing an hour every day, so I have done that for three days and I have three pages. As a result, I have no free time and I haven’t read any more of the book.
I also replaced my non-magnetic white board with a magnetic one and one HUNDRED tiny little ceramic magnets. I can re-position tiny bits of index cards and not go through the mawkish exercise of making my heroine/mother cry.
