Fresh Weirdness Updated

Wilma and Ken have received eight condolence cards. Am I missing something? Really, should I be sending out condolence cards?

  1. Cards to your nephew and her family, but jeez, it sounds like Gary’s family is trying to single-handedly support the United States Postal Service.

  2. I am not sure that a condolence card is mandatory, but you could never go wrong by sending something.I figure Miss Manners would nix the card and say that a nice hand written note would be better.

  3. Well I want to amend that. You could cause harm sending a card if it causes the receiver to have a self-doubt meltdown. Unintentional I am sure.

  4. Becs – They do love the cards. I am so happy my entire family has opted out of the Thnaksgiving?Easter/Eid/High Hold Day card scam.Zayrina – You are heartless! “Self-doubt meltdown.”

  5. Friend #3 – they should make one, not for that, but for condolences offered months too late. Like a “Sorry for reminding you that your family member died six months ago” card.

Comment, even if you aren’t on WordPress. Make up a name. Fine by me.
