So, I have embarked on the effort to straighten my teeth. They showed me a video of how the adjustment shall progress and it looks like I shall end up with the same tiny pointy hamster teeth that are not as askew. It really looked the same to me, but as long as parts stop shearing off I am happy.
Evidently, one reason I needed this is that I also have an enlarged tongue. I see no evidence of this. No one has ever complimented or criticized my tongue dimensions.

So, I’ve now spent a week with my teeth snuggled in plastic. Gary was right, it is orally comforting. And it does indeed cut down on snacking, because somehow the tooth plastination cuts your appetite. (Perhaps because there’s always something to chew on in your mouth?) Also, prying them off is enough of a nuisance that you don’t want to nibble.
And of course, I’m on the GLP shots, and that cuts my appetite, and then the nausea from this recent virus cuts my appetite, and well, I haven’t eaten anything solid for days. I do drink a protein shake every day, and of course, cough syrup has calories.
I’ve taken all the perishables and jammed them in the freezer. I’ll be interested to see if my appetite returns in thirds as these three appetite suppressants go away.
