I want to know … do you all know these words?
Scry (from an answer in How To Do It)
… to practice crystal gazing
Salience (from a TeddyJ PowerPoint)
… the quality of being particularly notable (I suppose I should have known this, given that I know salient.)
It’s like finding a new road to drive on, finding a new word.

I knew “salience”, but not “scry”. To me, salience means not only notable, but also suitably pertaining to the matter at hand.
I am trying to think of any new words I have learned lately. But my brain is fried from the past week.
KC – I checked in at work and none of my peers seemed to think “salience” is an unusual word. I wish I had tried to puzzle it out before I gave in and looked it up.
Commin Household Mom – It’s been a bad week. I bet I knew Salience and Scry on the 19th.
