Dentist Part Deux

I had two people’s hands in my mouth today, and I kind of liked it. I must really be craving that human connection. The assistant patted my shoulder during the bad parts, and I almost patted her in return.

Also, the new process at the dentist is to numb me up even if I’m just getting a crown replaced. I steeled myself for tugging and that nasty adhesive when I should have steeled myself for the big numbing needle.

I made the mistake of going to the pharmacy after, where I had to spell my last name, which is difficult to spell with a mouth full of novocaine. (“Esshhhh … czeeeh … ayeee …”). I finally just gave the pharmacist my debit card.
