The youngest of the Young People at Work taught me something this week: people in large Zoom calls will subtly play Rock, Paper, Scissors. I don’t know how they start the count, but after a silent 1-2-3, one player’s chin will rest on a “rock” of a hand and the other’s mouth will be covered by a hand in “paper” configuration.
The Young Person had the name of the game on her mind during the chat, because later when two co-workers were seriously debating a point, she wrote they were “rock, paper, scissoring” each other.
My leader noticed that I appeared to laugh inappropriately during the serious debate.

That is amaaaazing. But yes, also conducive to inappropriate laughter during serious debate… as are many of the creative/fun/relational aspects of life.
