I know that she’s been to Rapa Nui. (I recently used that name she taught me instead of “Easter Island,” and it elevated my status at work.)
So is it possible that this photo I saw on Facebook might contain an image of Big Dot herself? Would that be too much of a coincidence?

Not as blond as Big Dot, and this would be an unflattering photo, but glasses, forearms – could it be? That would be the ultimate coincidence.

Sadly no, that isn’t me. It would have been a wonderful coincidence that I’d certainly have delighted in – maybe not so much being in what is labelled a ‘historic photograph’. Though that will come to us all, I suppose.
Big Dot – it didn’t have your spectacular mountain-climbing posture. It would have been great though.
