Well, just last Monday on our anniversary I heard about some special manly soap the Young People at Work love: a Dr. Squatch soap, and as it was our anniversary that very day I bought a sample of Manly Man-scented soap for Gary.
Here is his review of the scents, as verbatim as possible.
Pine Tar – athletic
Alpine Sage – old fashioned
Cedar Citrus – he likes, citrusy
Deep Sea Goat’s Milk – he likes most , interesting
Bay Rum – masculine
Gold Moss – old fashioned, he likes
I also liked Goat’s Milk, Gold Moss, and Cedar Citrus, in that order.
One thing I forgot is that neither Gary nor I are on what you could call a “frequent” shower routine, so the soaps will likely stay in the shower, and the Tar, Sage, and Rum will likely be donated to the next Boy Scouts drive. Someday, somewhere, I will sniff the air and there will be a little homeless child smelling of rum.
