Weekly Paint Progress: 5/20


This week the pansies went from this:

… but wait. I happened to remember that’s from the book that tells you step-by-step what to do. Wow, did I go far afield. Whoops.

The next project? I have no more off-color salt shakers. I do have some miniature figurines, or I could do one of the more challenging step by steps.

  1. I mean, the plan was to do your own thing, and you’re doing it. So. Also it resembles a pansy already.
    That’s an interesting picture! I wonder what techniques they use for the waves – whether there’s a Bob Ross-style shortcut or whether each bit is specifically and separately painted?
