Weekly Paint Progress: 1/21

The big peony went from this:

.. to this:

I’ve decided to stop glazing by the book for a while. I need some positive reinforcement, so I’m going to use my cardboard box to combine some things I’ve painted before: the croquet ball, the dog bank, and the small mason jar.

And this time I’m not starting with a white canvas, I’m starting with a neutral color so I won’t be confused by the white of the canvas and white paint.

  1. The top one is starting to look like a picture out of a floral calendar. The bottom one is… well, we’ll have proof soon as to whether you can or cannot paint your way out of a paper bag. 😉

  2. KC – technically, it’s a jigsaw puzzle image, not a calendar. It is a paper bag, though, that’s funny.
