I squawked at the amount spent this month on peanuts for the nighttime animals. Essentially, we converted several hundred dollars into raccoon poop.
Gary did some research and discovered raccoons like dog food, and as long as it’s high protein dog food it can be as good for them as peanuts.
So tonight the raccoons, opossums, and skunks will dine on Purina One Lamb and Rice dog food. I think they’ll react to it the way I reacted to the chicken and waffle flavored potato chips. “Oh wow, these pellets taste just like baby sheep. How do they do that?”
