If I hadn’t already had KFC Poutine while in Canada, this new menu item at Houlihan’s would delight me:
It reads
“DISCO FRIES: Canadian Poutine (Poot sin) style with melty mozzarella, slow cooked pot roast and gravy.”
Poot-sin! I had NO idea. I’ve been saying it all wrong.

I had no idea there was a poutine – disco connection.

Well, that’s just daft. Where does that ‘s’ come from? Silly French Canadians, what do they know? Poo-teen.
The ‘s’ seems to be there just to be cute. “Poot-zeen.”
