Well this is strange

My laptop works until I get into Windows. Then it blacks out. So the iPhone sends you this camo gnome.photo.jpg

  1. I have nothing to say about the gnome (other than that it’s remarkable that anyone, having had the thought in the first place, would persevere with it to the point of mass-producing such a thing) but I did want to share with you that I just got home from a Coldplay concert where Chris Martin got us all (well, not me, I’d forgotten mine as usual) to do a Mexican wave with cellphone lights. He claimed it as a world first. Anyone disagree? It was super-cool.

  2. My brother will want to add this to his “I wake up screaming” file. Though gnomes aren’t nearly as horrifying as clowns.

  3. that looks like the sort of thing you can get at one of those “paint it yourself” pottery stores.
They will mold anything out of the ceramic.
Get Well Soon to your computer.

  4. Hee Hee! As a military spouse? I would totally buy that ugly gnome. Fortunately, for my neighbors? I don’t have a yard to put it in.

  5. Big Dot – (Allow me to explain to everyone that a “Mexican wave” is what we just call “The Wave.”) You do know the ColdPlay tour manager is the ex-BNL tour manager. I;m sure i mentioned that. Probably where they learned their audience interaction..75 – Yes, the laptop is gone for a month. The iPhone and Garys PC are filling in for now.gaoo – Well, clowns are killers, we all know that. My gnome isnt armed.Sherri – Let me check – Gary says he got it at Ace Hardware. He’s still quite proud of his find.Erin G – Brilliant! I can put it in the YARD! Never thought of that. Thanks!

  6. Could be – they said it was one of the crew who suggested it. Roger Daltrey was in the audience, by the way.
