Okay, I don’t know what the people at the Chicago StayPineapple hotel did to piss off Hotels.com, but I got those screen grabs from Hotels.com, not a legit page directly affliliated with the StayPineapple hotel.
Maybe it was competitor sabotage, like when Heineken spread the rumor that there was pee in Corona beer.
Or … maybe StayPineapple is unhappy with Hotels.com and this is actually a false flag operation by the Pineapple people to make Hotels.com look bad.
Anyway, in the meantime my appetite has turned back to the Palmer House with the grand lobby and tatty rooms.
