I heard of this animal from Gary. He is delighted there is an animal he didn’t hear about while getting his Biology major. They didn’t find the fossils until right about the time he started college.

Caecilians:
Are amphibians, cousins to worms and frogs
Sound just like “Sicilian”
Have tiny eyes
Have a phallus (male)
Birth live babies (female)
Can have teeth
Eat caviar
Can have vestigial limbs
Can be five feet long
Have lungs
Smell with their facial tentacles
Secrete mild toxins so they aren’t tasty
Provide baby milk out of the mother’s lower reproductive system that the babies ask for with a clicking sound
Provide new-grown fatty skin tag flesh the toddlers scrape off with their special scraping toddler teeth
Burrow in trash piles
Give you a backache if you touch them
Are “considered repulsive by many cultures”
(I promise to try this coming week to learn something pleasant.)
