I am not well. I feel like I have the Speed flu again. (Oddly, that links to the first post I made in 2005, when I had a fever and decided to make a blog. Earlier posts were just old emails to friends. Just shy of twenty years ago.)
As was in the post above, I have had chills all day. This particular set of chills are fever-free, violent and sudden. One chill, one shudder, and that’s it for the rest of the day. I suppose I don’t have chills: I have chill, singular.
Gary, on the other hand, has been in stellar health compared to the misery he’s been in the last two years. I woke up and he’d been up long enough to vacuum the house, clean up the yard, and reorganize his room. In fact, he feels so good that he is right now making himself a meal from scratch as opposed to the daily dog diet of chicken soup and protein shakes he’s stuck to all year.
It’s peculiar. I’m happy about it, of course.

Is there any theory as to why Gary is feeling better? (change in season/allergens; enough time on the restricted diet to avoid whatever was setting stuff off; changes in medication; statute of limitations on drywall dust; only One Person In The House can be unwell at a time?) At any rate, VERY GLAD he is doing better, hooray!!! And I hope his homemade meal does not mess anything up if it is the diet stuff.
Hope you feel better soon!
KC – All I can guess at is reduced stress and a complete avoidance of inflammatory foods. And it has been almost 20 hours and the blueberry chicken soup did not cause a reaction.
