This morning I woke up to two hot and timely bits of news.
Hot thing number 1: The Sun
The Parker Solar probe zipped by the sun at 5:53 am today. It’s been near the sun, but this is the closest flyby ever. Still about four million miles above the surface, but close enough to be in the corona.
Hot thing number 2: Bill Clinton
Bill Clinton is in the hospital with a fever, which is concerning because he had a fever before his bout of sepsis a few years back.
Godspeed to the probe and good wishes to Bill Clinton, whose probing days are over, I imagine.
