This week Hunky Gary went from this:

His face got pretty overworked. I should have stopped and let part of it dry, but I got excited. It looks like Gary now.
But why is there a tiny white dot on his crotch? And what is that light area over his shoulder. That might have to become a bush.

He looks way less Bill Gates-y now!!! and YAY for him looking like Gary! It is amazing, astonishing, and astounding that you’re now able to make a person you’re painting look not just like a person (challenging enough to not slide into the uncanny valley with weird proportions), but like *the right person!!!!
KC – Well, I owe it all to photoshop letting me compare what i have to what it should be.
I feel like your brush-wielding should still get a whoooole bunch of credit, because I could work *in photoshop* *in semi-transparent layers* and still not be able to get the bits of color in quite the right places.
(also there are the shoulders; I was worried about that and yet you fixed it and it is glorious)
