So I finally found the bookcase that Dave said had the family stuff “on the left.”
I was looking for things like the Transfer on Death papers he claimed he filed, or the car title, that would be helpful, but what did I find instead?
Another draft of Jerry’s novel. A better draft, at least judging by the first page.
Does it have the themes of abandonment? Probably not. But seriously, come ON.

(also, sorry for your brother’s death, and sorry things are hard and complicated, and sorry that the pot didn’t help, and may there be as many random bright spots and rest stops as you need)
KC – Dave’s ability to read and write was greatly affected by his learning disorder. At times he was articulate and at others he was incomprehensible.
