Weekly Paint Progress: 7/9

This week the crypts went from this …

to this …

I swear, short of writing a computer program I have done all I can to correct those angles and they are still wrong.

The seascape went from this …

to this …

Man, that’s bright. The next step in the book better tone that down.

  1. As always, enjoying the painting updates. 🙂 (and I’d note that whatever angles are wrong aren’t sticking out to me, so there’s at least that?)

  2. KC – it’s the step below the arch, and according to the comparison I just did in photoshop the nearest crypt is actually very off-kilter in real life. I am keeping it straight here.

  3. It… looks fine to me? But the crypt being off-kilter in real life makes sense, too – ground shifts, installation quality varies, etc.

  4. KC – sure – if the ground in New Orleans is too soggy to bury people then I’d say it’s too soggy to build a crypt on.

Comment, even if you aren't on WordPress. Make up a name. Fine by me.
