We used to have the “no lids and straws” situation at our zoo here also, but now it’s straws and lids galore. I don’t get it. Alas, no Bailey’s in the coffee, but we do have a Starbucks!
Kristie – Huh. One of our polar bears died because a plastic bag blew into his pit and he ate it. Maybe that’s why we still have the rule.
Becs – Oh no, nowhere near as big as those NY cups. We get those at Sonic and 7 – 11. They scare me.

Hey – are any of those “zippers” illegal in NYC? You could have a black market soda cup going on there.
