This. That. The Other.

  • We got enough sleep Saturday that we’ve accomplished some yard work.

This is the best tool ever invented:

It’s a clamping alligator lopper. Imagine a pair of power scissors. You clamp on to a tree limb, a shrub stump; the tool goes “chomp chomp chomp nerrrrr” and is sawed through. Visceral.

  • I’ve decided I am kin with Joe Biden. He is a soul sibling. Man just says what’s on his mind. Not always prudent, but sincere. I imagine he makes people uncomfortable too. I need to be in politics instead of where I am.
  • I pay people to rake Mom’s leaves. They do not rake them. In contrast, I frequently call service people so I can offer them money to do similar work and they do not even call back. “Call me with an estimate” is the last thing I say to most of these people. Oddly, everyone seems to have the same problem. Perhaps it takes money to make money. They may not have money to drive down the block to Mom’s house to evaluate the job. Tiresome.

  1. You would totally have my vote. Which would be illegal, since I’m not American, but screw ’em, I’ll just hold up my clamping chain saw and say ‘my little friend would like to vote too’.

  2. Big Dot – I hope those awful SAW movies havent made it over to NZ. This would be the star in Saw 7.Allison – Then you could rev it up. Rrr! Rrr!Surprising Woman – Why wont they bid? Isn’t there a bad economy?
