I hate those shiny straps. I was in a production where the diva leading lady wore one with a strapless dress. and the cast was like “…? Um. Shiny.” She wasn’t huge – because, yeah, they don’t make those bras bigger than a B cup – but I had to look at those stupid shiny straps on stage for 6 weeks and it was really irritating!
I have several 42D strapless “convertable” bras that came with straps that you could rearrange. There was a set of straps in the same color as the bra (I bought black, white & beige), and a set of the clear plastic ones. I cannot imagine wearing those sticky, shiny plastic mofo’s on my body. Ew no no no no.
They do make them in my size, though, and the bras themselves are the foam-padded ones. They really have the strength to hold up the girls without buckling. I appreciate that.

I don’t think they make clear straps in sizes for people who actually need bras.
The ones I’ve seen don’t look invisible but look like plastic bra straps.
Maybe Gary would be less confused if we call them a bra’s plastic straps?

Tami – I know how elastic straps stretch, I can only imagine how the clear plastic stretches. Especially in the heat. Nasty.
