- It takes one hour to fly to Chicago, which is a 6-hour drive away, and the flight costs about 90 without tax etc. Tulsa is also a 6 hour drive away, but it costs 250 and there are no straight flights, so it takes 4 hours anyway. And with the 2 hour Terrorism delay, it’s no savings of time. Pah.
- I have again done the biannual closet purge. The new rules this year: no short sleeves (especially after seeing Gabourey Somethingbasedonthenovelpushbysapphire on SNL last night.) No rounded collars (I’m rounded enough). No stiff collars (they always looked pulled askew by my purse). The capris got a conditional reprieve, they will only be worn to Wal-Mart and Schnucks, never Target or Dierberg’s.
