  1. At least we know what she CLAIMS to be spraying on you. It IS a good idea. I’m kind of a weirdo about washing my hands anyway. The other day at the grocery store I picked up some kid’s toy off the floor and then thought, Oh God, what have I done? I feel like Adrian Monk needing a “Wipe, wipe!”

  2. I have not gone on a cruise in some 5+ years because on that last cruise, within 10 minutes of stepping OFF the ship I came down with a DISEASE that had apparently been running rampant ON the ship. With such a breeding ground for horrible illness afloat, I’d rather stay home. The damn thing lept OFF the ship to get me when it realized I had escaped its clutches while on board.

  3. gaoo – I used to be blase about germs, but now I very germ-conscious.Sherri – We are all terrified of the Norwalk virus. I am typing this at a keyboard that insists I wash my hands before AND after using it.

  4. I read something on the Norwalk virus today. Seems that if you are type O blood, you are more predisposed to come down with it. A, B, and AB have some antibodies that offer some protection against it. Not completely, but some. ….finally – something I can do that Os can’t. 🙂

  5. FTDS – I’m an O, but I sanitized myself at every opportunity – in the elevator in particular. At one point some people were in my way and I told them I’d just gone to the bathroom and not sanitized my hands after.
