yeah…Clock Tower is an old reference, but if you lived in Texas or where in college at a university campus nearby at the time it’s no different that going postal or Columbine or Kent State. It’s all relative.

As soon as I read the clocktower comment I thought, “She’s talking about UT in the 60s.” Of course, I’ve lived in Texas (just about) my whole life.
PS-Although I also immediately think of the “Back to the Future” movies…especially the first one when they’re all “SAVE THE CLOCK TOWER! SAVE THE CLOCK TOWER!” But I also refer to the old Volkswagen vans as terrorist vans based on that movie…I was so not impressionable as a young child 😉

Well, what I was GOING to say initially was Why go for such an old psycho-shooting reference when you have so many more recent ones to choose from? but I thought that was maybe a bit harsh from an outsider. Should have known you lot better! (And besides, we have had one of ur own.)
