2007 Recap
The More Things Change, the More They Stay the Same:
The estate still hasn’t been settled. Not till March!
The neighbor’s house is still empty, but the grass is trimmed.
The More Things Stay the Same, the More They Change:
Mom started out the year sick with spells. She had weakness and tremors. After numerous test and neurologist visits, she still has weakness and tremors plus intermittent loss of limb function. However, the bursa is gone! Miraculous!
It seems to have been the year for concerts. In addition to the non-stop concerts on last year’s BNL Ships n Dip cruise, I went to:
Guster concert
BNL in Memphis
BNL in Chicago
Rose Hill Drive
Bowling for Soup
Cowboy Mouth
Regina Spektor
Hey, remember when I was bitching? Specifically about having to pay 400 a month for the Betaseron? Then there were the Neutralizing antibodies (“NABs,” as we call them) then the equally expensive Copaxone, then the turning blue? Ha! And guess how much the drugs placebo will cost the next two years? Ha! Nada! Chambord for everyone!
But really, the big thing this year was the Search for Spartacus. One more day! 1/2/08!

I wish I’d gone to more concerts this year. Or any concerts this year. Last road trip I made was three years ago.Happy 2008!
Kathy – we thought briefly of heading to Columbia or the state fair, that would only be a one-day road trip.
