So, I watched the Emmys on TiVo. Just not the same. Surprisingly, Gary did not pause on any boobage, as he has with the Academy Awards.
Glad: I was glad to see The Girl in the Cafe won three awards. That is a fabulous, meaningful movie. Especially if you wait until the credits. They did the chilling finger-snapping thing, and then at the end pointed me to http://www.makepovertyhistory.org>, which in the U.S. is the One Campaign.
Sad: Candice Bergen made me sad. I was looking to her from some big girl stylin’ fashion secrets and she did so disappoint.
And speaking of fashion, did I or did I not see John Mark Karr wear the same shirt two days in a row? The red shirt with the tie? In LA and in Boulder? That is not done. It’s…what’s the word? Criminal!

I was thinking the usually lovely Candice Bergen looked all…bulky, and unnecessarily so at that. So sad, no?
My husband decided Candace Bergen was going for the pirate look.
