I am here on the frontlines of the power outage, and I can report that people in North Saint Louis County are screaming at the grocery store staff because they have no meat, no milk, and no ice. This is our in-laws’ neighborhood, and we fear the in-laws may start looting.

Actually, Gary went and took them three (3!) bags of ice we had in the basement freezer, put there because Libby can get a little sarcastic about the fact I have no ice any time she comes over. Hence, a freezer full of ice. Shhh! Don’t tell anyone, they may loot us.

Surprising that we only lost power briefly during Storm II, since Storm I brought down the limb. As you can see, either this is a big limb or we have a tiny house buried under that:
