Perverts! They’re Everywhere!

So, at the Better Than Ezra concert, Gary saw this drama played out next to us. I was oblivious.

There was a wiry old man with binoculars milling through the crowd in front of the stage. I did see him; it comforted me to know we were not the oldest ones there. He stood for a while in front of the cute girls and behemoth guys in front of us. Two cute girls and two guys so huge they looked like livestock. One guy had a piercing in his ear and it looked like a cow tag. But Binocular Man moved on at some point.

Gary reported later that what actually happened was that Binocular Man stood close to the cute girls. The he stood closer. Then he started rubbing up against them.

“Frottage!” I interrupted, excited to hear about something I had only read about. (This time, Mom, yes in naughty places.)
“That isn’t a -” But then Gary just went on without making a bet.

According to Gary, the Cow Tag men didn’t appreciate Binocular Man frotagging their dates. CowMen threatened BinoMan and he ignored them. They offered him five bucks; he ignored them. They offered him twenty, he snatched it up and moved on. Right past me. I got no frottage. Bastard.

  1. Ha! I have a running joke with matt re: “frottage”.The first time I used it he thought I was saying “fromage” and couldn’t understand why i was saying cheese when he was trying to fondle me in a public place.I guess it’s not funny to anyone else, but to me, it’s genuine comedy.

  2. Melati – that is funny. In fact, I’m afraid it may rival “fragile – it must be italian!” from the Christmas Story in my list of words I can’t think of without mispronouncing. Luckily, I’ll encounter frottage/fromage less often than I find “fragile” which I can no longer think of with the correct pronounciation.

Comment, even if you aren't on WordPress. Make up a name. Fine by me.
