I’ll need to loosen up that spiral ribon.

Now I’m thinking I like the brown again. But then there are the feathers. The glue is seeping through the pink buckram, so when all is done I’ll need a Rustoleum touch-up. I won’t dare spray the paint on. I’ll brush it on lightly. Hm. Pink side or brown side. And I might not use…

I think I need to flip the wired pink and brown ribbon over so the hat will be primarily pink, instead of the three-way tie between ivory, white, and brown. That should pull it together more. I’ll still have three textures (flowers, ribbon and feathers) but there will be more harmony with the colors.
